Kylee Jordan received her law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2010. Ms. Jordan began her career at the Illinois Attorney General's Office by defending workers' compensation claims brought by state employees against the State of Illinois.  Since leaving the Attorney General's Office, Ms. Jordan has spent the entirety of her career practicing workers' compensation law.   She has defended state and private entities at all levels from arbitration to the Appellate Court. Ms. Jordan's experience allows her to offer her clients practical solutions to bring their cases to an efficient and timely resolution.  

In her free time, Ms. Jordan enjoys spending time with her husband traveling, cooking, and playing with their dog Drax.

Beth Kelly has been affiliated with Equity First Class Chambers since its inception. As Director of Operations, she oversees the management and day to day operations for both the firm’s Illinois and California offices, at the direction of the President.  Further, Beth oversees the revenue growth for the firm while also managing staff.  In addition to previously working in fashion, real estate and accounting, Beth spent over six years employed at other renowned defense firms until she decided to take her expertise and help develop Equity First Class Chambers.

Maureen Kelly has over ten years’ experience as a customer service professional, working as a liaison between consumers and corporations. She is a skilled communicator with an aptitude for remedying conflict and keen organizational skills, which allows for effective delivery of outstanding service as our Billing Coordinator. She has maintained the highest level of integrity; dedicated to providing reliable and friendly service without compromising the reputation or competencies of the firm since joining our ASA family in 2019. Maureen is a highly motivated mother of one, and a devoted sports enthusiast.

Monica Kiehl received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Elmhurst College in 2001 and her J.D. from John Marshall Law School in 2004.  Ms. Kiehl has been practicing in the area of workers’ compensation defense for most of her career.  Ms. Kiehl began her career at a municipal law firm and, in addition to practicing general municipal law, she defended workers’ compensation claims for municipalities.  Subsequently, Ms. Kiehl worked at the Illinois Attorney General’s office, defending the State in claims brought by state employees and employers without insurance.  

Since leaving the Attorney General’s office, she continued to defend workers’ compensation claims in the State of Illinois for private entities. Ms. Kiehl joined Equity First Class Chambers in 2021. She has tried cases before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, and appeals at the Circuit Court and Appellate levels throughout the state and brings with her practical litigation experience. Having represented private and public entities, Ms. Kiehl has defended a variety of issues and injuries. Ms. Kiehl vigorously defends clients to ensure cost-effective claim resolution in an expeditious manner.

Christine Leahy started at Equity First Class Chambers back in 2018,working as a file clerk during her school breaks. Since graduating from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in Political Science and Spanish, she now works full time as a legal assistant at the Illinois office. Christine is planning on going to law school herself, and is grateful for the exposure to the field before she continues her education.

Talin earned her JD from Southwestern Law School and upon being licensed, focused her practice exclusively on Workers’ Compensation defense.  Prior to law school, she received a double Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Journalism from California State University of Northridge where she served as a staff writer for the campus publication, The Daily Sundial. Talin believes in a multi-dimensional approach to her practice which includes working to strike a balance between fully litigating a matter in order to set good defense precedents while, at the same time, considering the clients’ bottom line. Talin is fluent in Armenian.

Rory McCann began his career as a workers compensation defense attorney in 2009 working for a large suburban defense firm until joining Equity First Class Chambers in 2019.  Early in his career, he distinguished himself as the primary associate assigned to draft appellate court briefs.  He has successfully defended dozens of claims at all levels from arbitration to the Appellate Court.  In addition, he has represented numerous Fortune 500 companies and served as the managing attorney on large accounts, working closely to pursue the twin goals of fast closure and cost-containment. Mr. McCann utilizes an intuitive approach to planning claim resolutions.  He begins each new file by carefully considering all client's specific interests and clearly setting forth all options, considerations, and mapping out likely results for each approach.  His experience has provided him a solid foundation to best predict future opponent moves and understanding the evidentiary needs of those who adjudicate our clients' claims. Mr. McCann obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and law degree from John Marshall Law School.  He enjoys playing guitar, reading, golf and spending time with his wife and three kids.

Caitlin Murphy began her career in workers’ compensation after graduating from Northern Illinois University. She gained eight years of experience at prior firms before joining Equity First Class Chambers. After two years with Equity First Class Chambers she recently made the move out west to assist in opening ASA’s California office. As Office Manager she ensures that the California office performs efficiently. It is a privilege for Caitlin to be a part of the ASA family as it continues to expand.

Robert began his career in Workers’ Compensation in 2003 and has seventeen years of experience prior to joining Equity First Class Chambers.  He has vast experience in numerous positions from file clerk, supervisor, document control administrator, lien assistant and legal assistant.  Robert works full-time as a legal assistant in the California office and has plans to further his education.

Alexa Venditti graduated from Loyola University Chicago and went on to receive her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School. While studying at John Marshall, Alexa was a participant in The John Marshall Law Review as a Staff Editor and graduated magna cum laude upon completion of her legal education. Upon being licensed, Alexa worked in the area of personal injury, commercial litigation, civil rights litigation, mortgage foreclosures and probate litigation. Alexa enjoys using creative approach to case handling in securing favorable and amicable results for clients. She prides herself on being relatable and approachable while also remaining hyper focused on securing results.  In her free time, Alexa’s hobbies include cooking, drawing, traveling and culinary.

Kristen Wasieleski received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of Mississippi in 2007 and her J.D. from Mississippi College of Law in 2010.  Prior to joining Equity First Class Chambers, Kristen represented clients in probate and trust litigation. Prior to that, Kristen represented consumers in Bankruptcy and Federal civil litigation cases.  

Kristen’s prior experience has created a solid foundation for her to successfully advocate for her clients. Kristen prides herself on being a team player and getting results. During her free time, Kristen enjoys playing volleyball, reading, and spending time with her husband and children.

Vicky Walters completed her Paralegal BVS Certificate at Elgin Community College in 2021 and joined Equity First Class Chambers as a Paralegal in the Illinois office in 2022. Although Ms. Walters is new to the legal field and workers’ compensation practice, she is excited to contribute to ASA’s growing practice by providing support to our attorneys. Prior to working in the legal field, Ms. Walters earned her AAS in Graphic Design and spent 6 years working in the print industry allowing her to stay up to date as technology has rapidly changed. During her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, video games, and listening to podcasts.
